Presidents’ Awards

Founded in 1994, Sport BCā€™s Annual Presidentsā€™ Awards promote and celebrate the spirit of volunteerism by giving member organizations an opportunity to acknowledge and thank an individual who has demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment to their sport.

FOR SPORT BC MEMBERS:

The Presidentsā€™ Awards are presented by Sport With Balls and provides Sport BC members the opportunity to recognize a key volunteer from their organization. The awards will be presented in a ceremony prior to the Athlete of the Year Awards on March 7, 2024 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.Ā

    Sport BC announces Presidents’ Awards Recipients

    Sport BC recognizes the importance of volunteers in sport. The significant role volunteers play in the sport sector is celebrated through Sport BCā€™s Presidentsā€™ Awards. The Presidentsā€™ Awards presented by Sports With Balls are given to volunteers from Sport BC member and partner organizations who demonstrate the spirit of volunteerism through the dedication, commitment, and tireless energy they give to their sport organizations. The 37 recipients for 2020 were celebrated during theĀ 54th Athlete of the Year AwardsĀ on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
