Amateur sport friends and supporters:

With one (1) day to election day, we wanted to share an update on our progress of Voting for Sport!

Thanks to the support of our community so far, we’ve achieved some important milestones! Since starting our campaign, 529 sport supporters have sent more than 2000+ letters to candidates and parties across British Columbia!

We know it’s making a difference –– both the BCNDP and the BC Greens have committed to supporting sport in their platforms.  We’re still waiting to hear back from the Conservative Party of BC.

But we’re not done yet! To maximize our impact (and match our 2020 numbers) and reach even more people who share our priorities, we need your help.

Please share this exciting update on social media

and invite your friends and followers to join us on this journey now. If enough of us speak out together, our voices will be impossible to ignore.

We’re also pleased to share a recap of our campaign recently in this op-ed published in Business in Vancouver telling the parties that supporting sport leads to a healthy economy.

Our main need is to increase the number of letters sent, please engage in the campaign now and if you see it appropriate, share with others.

Election day is tomorrow, but the impact of our collective advocacy and commitment will make a lasting difference in the priorities BC’s next government invests in over the next four years.

Together, we are creating healthier, more inclusive, connected, communities where we can all thrive.

Thank you for being an essential part of our campaign’s success – Sport BC is proud to be leading this work on your behalf and trust you will help us with this final push.

Yours in sport,

Rob Newman
