Squamish native first Canadian to win Mountain Bike World Junior championships

Sixteen-year old Lauren Rosser became the first Canadian to claim the title of world junior champion at the 2010 Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships in Mont-Sainte-Anne, QC. The Squamish native competed in both women’s downhill, where she won gold, and the cross-country event.
