BC’s best junior athletes head to Athletics World Juniors championships
Some of BC’s best are heading across the country this month to see how they measure up against the best in the world. The 13th International Association of Athletics Federation World Junior Championships is scheduled to take place July 19-25 in Moncton, New Brunswick. BC’s eight participating athletes round out Canada’s field to 59. More than 1,400 athletes aged 19 and under – plus coaches and team officials from 170 countries – are scheduled to compete in 25 different track and field events.
