Donovan Tildesley closes BC Summer Games with words of wisdom for young athletes

The BC Summer Games 2010 ended on Sunday at the Langley Events Centre. Over 2500 young athletes were treated to an inspirational speech from Sport BC’s 2010 Athlete with a Disability winner, Donovan Tildesley. Donovan who was born blind and took part in the 1996 BC Summer Games for Athletes with a Disability spoke of how the games gave him inspiration and set him on the road to Paralympic success at the 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games. Donovan is a fantastic role model and a wonderful speaker and will have lit a fire in many of BC’s young athletes to strive forward and achieve success.
