Football BC passes new preventative head injury guidelines

Football BC has just established a new set of safety guidelines designed to prevent head injuries amongst amateur athletes. This new program is modeled on the Lystedt law which was passed in Washington State after a young man was disabled after a series of concussions.

Each member organization of Football BC must be compliant with these new guidelines which are the first of its kind in amateur sport in British Columbia.
