Eugene Wong named Canada’s top male amateur golfer for 2010

Former Sport BC Junior Male Athlete of the Year Eugene Wong followed up a solid 2010 season with the title of Top Male Amateur Golfer as ranked by Golf Canada’s 2010 National Order of Merit standings.

Nick Taylor of Abbotsford, another former Sport BC Athlete of the Year award winner, finished in the top 5 for the men, while Christine Wong of Richmond and  Jessica Wallace of Langley rounded out the top 5 in the national women’s standings. BC’s junior golfers also ranked highly in both the male and female categories.
