In March 2011, the BC Sport Alliance engaged Cathy Pristner-Allinger to work with the Alliance in the continued planning and preparation for a new strategic leadership Sport Agency in British Columbia. Cathy and her colleague Mary Conibear have met with many representatives from the Provincial Sport Organizations and Multi-Sport Organizations to ensure that the vision for the work of the agency meets the sector needs.
The BC Sport Alliance will be holding this Information Session today during which Cathy and Mary will provide an update on their findings from their PSO and MSO meetings, and recommendations about the Agency proposed functions, a general staffing structure and the initial operational priorities.
