Family festival gives kids opportunity to try new sports and get active

A number of Sport BC member organizations will be present this Saturday, May 29, at the Island Savings Family Sport and Recreation Festival, scheduled to take place from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence in Saanich.

The festival, designed to promote sport for young people, will also boast appearances from Olympic, Paralympic, and professional athletes. Some of the sports featured include kid’s triathlon, rowing, basketball, softball, and judo.
