Harassment & Abuse

Sport BC is committed to working towards the goal that every participant is provided a safe environment in which to participate.

Harassment in sport is a serious issue that needs to be addressed by everyone involved in the amateur sport system, from administrators to coaches to athletes to volunteers. Sport BC has – in collaboration with many partners – taken a leadership role on this issue by providing template policies, developing an action plan and delivering a series of educational and training workshops to individuals within the sport system.
Sport BC Harassment Advisor Training

Also, if you are interested in becoming a Harassment Advisor, please contact Sport BC’s Harassment Coordinator.
